Hi!
Sorry to not be more precise, but try to find a "Grotto" there, they are typical ticinese restaurants, if I remember, on the small mountains surrounding Lugano...
Also, if you are around beginning of August, don't miss the movie festival in Locarno (close to Lugano)...

Try Birrificio in Bioggio, Grotto al Bosco near Certenago, La Sosta in Corona, Riviera in Bioggio or La Posta in Morcote. There are tons of local places. Really depends on what you are looking for.
