Seeking accomodation in Long Beach

Hello,

My brother is going to Long Beach for 8 months and he is looking for a flat or house with two bedrooms for 1600$ or less per months.

If you know anyone who rents a flat or if you have an idea for the best way to find a flat at Long Beach, please send him an email to gaspard01@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance !
Emilie

I second RichardM's suggestion of Craigslist and I would suggest www.airbnb.com as another popular site for temp rentals.  I have personally found success on both Airbnb and Craigslist.

Long Beach is a big and diverse area of neighborhoods... it would help to have someone local check the neighborhood out before committing any cash.

Good luck!

Thanks Todd for your help and your advice.

In fact, he will arrive in Long Beach today so he can visit by himself. He just need to find it quickly!

For information for people planning to move to Long Beach, my brother found a great appartment in 4 days after his arrival. He used airbnb.com asTodd H as suggested and also looked the ads on his university website.
