Sorry - I'll try again. Glocals obviously not compatible with iPad. Total mileage over 3 years is less than 60k - of which 5 months a year are with winter tyres. Does it seem too soon for these tyres to require renewing?

Which summer tyre?  It's not uncommon for a performance tyre to become worn out in 25-30k with their soft, grippy rubber compound.  60k sounds fine to me.

firstly, law requires at least a 2mm tread on a tire. secondly, the garage usually will charge you 5 sfr per tire to have them "eliminated".

I know - we were charged 5fr per tyre. Unfortunately, I have no idea how much tread was left. Is it normal to just take them like that?

most likely the tires are still on site as they have them collected from time to time. ask to see them. sapristi!!!Yell
