UK-based mobile use in E. Europe
Which UK-based mobile phone carrier offers the best deals for roaming in E. Europe (mainly Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania)? Especially for data.

Thanks

Barry

Depends which carrier you are on and the deals they have with the carriers in those countries. Probabaly Vodafone is your best bet. They have a thinkg called Vodafone Passport where you talk abroad with the same rates as home but data is trickier, data roaming is pretty expensive everywhere, unless you phone has wifi and you use mostly hotspots and not the network ;)

Try 02, they have just changed theirs. You now pay 0.50p for connection when you make or receive a call, then after that the rest comes out of your monthly allowance depending on which tarrif you have. Data calls are now 1.99 per mb a day. Look on the 02 websites and you should find it. Vodaphone's passport has now changed and is now more expensive than 02. I hope that helps.
