It depends on which country you come from. You have to ask the office who issues your new passport to attach your old one to it. Alternatively you ask the consulate of the country for which you have the valid visa if they will accept the presentation of both passports
Not knowing which countries involved and as the visa has only one month to run, why not apply for a new visa?
