Hi, can anyone please give me some info on travelling with luggage on the swiss trains.
My husband and I will be buying 1st class tickets from Zurich to Laussane and then from Geneva to Zurich.
We will have 2 suitcases each can these be taken with us directly on the train so that we can have them immediately when we arrive?
any information and help would be very much appreciated.

You can take all that you can carry in the way of baggage onto trains, you don't need to check them in! just get on the train find somewhere to put your bags and then find your seat.

You will have to take your luggage into the train where you will find bag spaces/ storage facility at the begining and middle of each couch of the first class cars. Hope you have a pleasant trip. PS the trains only stop for a short time so make sure you're at the right sector for boarding first class. P
