Guitar lessons/ Guitar teacher in Zurich
Hi folks!

My gorgeous, new acoustic guitar has forlornly been gathering dust since being neglected shortly after the initial excitement it elicited when it was first given to me:Whistling:

I'd like to change that and was therefore wondering if any one of you happens to be or know anyone proficiently skilled in playing the guitar and giving guitar lessons (Zurich area)?

I thought I'd ask here before starting the google drill.

Thanks!
Fairydust

 Hi Fairydust,
I just clicked on your message by chance as I'm also interested to find a guitar teacher (after trying to learn the very very basics by myself and all i can do is finger pick amazing grace haha)...On the English Forum (www.englishforum.ch) several people recommended this guy, with the following comment:

"Chris Lightfoot is great. He's a degreed bilingual (English & German) professional guitarist & experienced music teacher who teaches electric and acoustic guitar
in the Zurich area to all levels and ages, catering for all desired
musical styles: Jazz, Blues, Country, Rock, Pop, Classical, Funk, Metal
& much more... Intensive lessons, music theory, rhythmic,
ear-training, site-reading, band workshops and coaching also offered.
If you're i
nterested, contact him directly at 079 375 48 62 or [email protected] "

I don't know who/where (Zurich area is a bit of a broad statement)/how much he is but perhaps it's something to try...if you have already found someone good, do let me know :)

Cheers
Assia

Post 3

I am looking for electric guitar lessons/teacher.

I have my own guitar but I now need to know how to play with it :). I am a real beginner, no experience at all.

Small detail, I don't speak german...

As the previous post is quite old, maybe you could suggest me something more recent ?

Thanks in advance
