Perfect salon for anyone wanting a professional nail salon in Geneva, this place is a real find!
I have tried a few salons and almost gave up thinking that Geneva simply has second rate service and salons otherwise called nail bars.
The mani / pedi at Swiss Nail Spa is divine and the prices are spot on for what you get which includes nespresso on a silver tray, biscuits and then a sweet! Perfect 10 for me.

Beautiful nail salon in the middle of Geneva jus a few steps away from the Fnac. It's a little hidden away because its in a small arcade on its own so you need to keep an eye out or you'll walk past it. Once inside its a bright and beautifully decked out nail salon with an enourmous selection of nail polish. The owner is amazing with her knowledge of different nail polish brands. Her staff were attentive and did a fabulous job on my feet and hands and it was an overall great first time experience here. I would not hesitate to recommend this place for cost, service and location.
Its a little confusing (its almost like there has to be another salon with the same name) when reading some of the reviews, but lucky that I did not read them before I went with a friend visitng from Zurich today for a girly mani & pedi which was simply superb.
The salon is very clean and beautiful and the staff are by far the friendliest I have come across in geneva so far.
English magazines and an amazing herbal tea to die for.
Highly recommended by both of us :) Bisous Bisous

I was told that The Swiss Nail Spa was the place to go to get a real pampering for your hands and feet.
One things for sure: I'm NOT coming back. Had the Signiture SNS pedicure. At some point a gel was applied to my feet. It is apparently suppose to go under the feet but the lady got some of the gel on top of my feet which has given me second degree buns on both my feet.
I went there to complain and all I got was a "sorry it was an accident".
I'm very disapointed that I had to pay 90CHF for a treatment that has left my feet very painfull.
The Swiss Nail Spa is a place I wouldn't reccomend anyone to go!

Hello Caroline222,
I really am sorry to hear of your bad experience and I would love to change your mind about us.
Please contact us directly so I can better understand the issue of the bad pedicure on 022/3106400 and ask to speak with either Marine or Vesna mentioning the Glocals review.
I would have liked to also better understand how you averaged the 1 star rating based on the feedback that the gel nails were satisfactory.
The technician you mention has a wonderful reputation with our clients and I will certainly bring up your review with her (I can appreciate the stiletto nail look is not everyone's taste - but this lovely young lady is far from vulgar in any sense).
Concardis (the credit card processing company) in the 'rare' occassions have problems that are not within our control.
If you do not wish to call us you are welcome to contact me via the glocals email and leave your contact details so we can get back to you.
thankyou.
NOTE TO ALL: We really love to receive your reviews as it helps us focus on areas that need improving or re-vamping to make your experiences even better with us.
Glocals is a great place to share fair constructive reviews.

Satisfactory work on gel nails and the Asian girl there is quite professional. Unfortunately I did a PEDICURE a week ago and I fall with a new Lady that had the nails such that long (and vulgar) that she wasn't able to perform a decent work hence the pedicure was terrible. She cut me pretty bad and did a lot of mistakes with the nail polish. When I tried to correct her she got bothered!!
Oh make sure you have cash with you sometimes their terminal doesn't work. I had to go to the next door bank for some cash and although is one year I go there I had been asked to leave my shopping bag there just to be sure I would return and pay....
I wouldn't rank it as the best of Gva.

Would not recommend this place despite the rave reviews. Basic customer service lets them down despite the good manicures. I've rung several times to get an appointment but none picks up the phone, left messages which haven;t been responded to. This does not seem to concern the manager given that the salon is busy. I would rather go to a more modest place where they get the nuts and bolts right.
Had my pedicure spa and manicure spa 'treat' today and I give Swiss Nail Spa 5 stars on every aspect:
Service was simply super friendly and a great environment full of laughs and good humour.
The pedicure was devine, the foot massage to die for and the color selection is the best Ive seen in Geneva.
The manicure was also simply the best in town. The girl who did my nails was sooo lovely I want her to marry my brother !! (are you reading this Tom)??
This is the only nail salon that I have seen with a receptionist, takes your coat (and all the xmas shopping bags), brings you coffee in stylish nespresso cups with a glass of water and a biscuit (2 if you ask nicely:)) 5 stars alone for this service!
The location is central and perfect if you have to visit the APPLE store or Fnac - its a 1 minute walk away street level.
This beautiful salon is bright white with beautiful wooden floors, amazing Kartel vases, too many nail colors to choose from plus they have tons of different glitter colors for xmas that a few clients were going with in the xmas spirit. Not my thing but was fun to be part of the atmosphere with the upbeat 'modern' xmas carols.
Price is more expensive then in the US (this is not a news alert I know) but for Geneva they are cheaper then any of the other nail salons with a bit of class (Bon Genie - Ok but horribly expensive, Spa Tio - also not great and far too expensive and the Kempinski who dont have the same variety of services and are a little snobby and way too expensive)....
so ladies this is one address to try if you havent already for superior services at very affordable prices.

Male friendly salon. Great for couples. We loved it and can see why it was voted one of the best new addresses in Geneva for 2011 for manicures and pedicures. Staff are very professional and the service was superb.
Was initially disappointed that i was not able to arrange a date and time. Nevertheless, that have since contacted me to arrange everything and was very satisfied with the service. Thank you!
Like Nik and the many others I agree Swiss Nail Spa is a beautiful nail salon, very stylish with great friendly staff who make a huge effort to look after you.
I was very impressed with the puppy lounge and bowl of fresh water offered to my pet (very clean).
The spa manicure and the spa pedicure are the absolute very best in Geneva by far. My hands are amazingly soft and beautifully finished. My feet feel smooth and Im totally relaxed after the foot massage soothed my days worries away.
Girls and guys I highly recommend this wonderful little haven in the heart of Geneva. Its a 5 star in my book.

THe best GE has to offer. Agree with 5 star reviews. Do not go anywhere else in GE for nailcare. Shame they do not do all beauty treatments.
Beautiful nail salon. Fantastic customer service. The best manicure and pedicure I have had in years. Ladies; this salon is truely on par with top nail spa's in the UK, USA and Japan (based on my personal experience). Highly recommended!
Hip Hip Hoorah finally a nail salon in Geneva that offers excellent mani / pedi's, a fantastic welcome and a beautiful salon that is clean and stylish.
It was my birthday and my co-workers offered me an afternoon of pampering here at Swiss Nail Spa. I was welcomed with a beautiful gift basket filled with manicure and pedicure goodies, English magazines, a bottle of champagne and a whole pack of reduction offers to try other services.
The owner is a qualified nail technician herself who trained in London and is just amazing (sorry i forgot your name much to my shame), the receptionist was attentive and lovely and the girl who did my nails was simply fantastic.
The owner (again sorry I hate not having a name), has an amazing and inspirational story of how she changed professions from a corporate communications and marketing director to nail salon owner in Geneva (and no its not that she followed her husband)!
I cant rave enough and to the team of Swiss nail spa thank you for the incredible xmas offer I will see you then (if not before) :))

I went with 2 friends for manicures and pedicures and we had a wonderful afternoon. Even though the salon was very busy we were seated right after we choose our varnish and our services started soon after we received our drinks. The pedicure chairs were heavenly, every girl was simply fantastic and attentive with the end result being beautiful. The salon is bright white and much to my pleasure two amazing KARTELL designer vases sit at the entrance giving understated design luxury. This is one place you must visit to do your nails as there is no other nail salon in Geneva like it ! As far as nail salons go this one is my top pick.
This is the best BUYCLUB deal I have bought so far. Lovely clean and bright place which smells simply yummy. The staff really look like they enjoy working together which gives a great atmosphere (I laughed a lot with my nail tech, she was so nice).
I added a 1hr pedicure which was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep and my finished tootsies were super soft and ruby red. My spa manicure was wonderful with perfect polish application. To top it off when I recieved my OPI polish I was offered a free polish change next week!
This place ROCKS !!!!!

I used my buyclub voucher last week and am only writing my review today because of how impressed I am with the feel of my hands after the hand spa treatment, the overall service, the lovely clean salon and the easy to get to location in the centre of geneva. This salon has the largest selection of nail polish I have seen in any one salon and it was hard to choose one to take home (1 was on offer as part of the deal), the young lady who looked after me recommended a beautiful color and offered me a free polish change with the color I just choose within 1 week, which was yesterday. Today I am looking at my hands and my new color change which will last another week and I am duly impressed. I walked out today armed with another deal for a pedicure which I will book over the coming weeks. They also gave me 10 deals to share with my friends and co-workers who will be over the moon. Finally a place in Geneva that knows how to look after clients. Swiss Nail Spa is a 'highly recommended' place that is now on my speed dial.
Wow this is a great nail salon with excellent service, fantastic manicure and the best pedicure that I have had in a very long time. I called and got an appointment on the day and time I wanted. During my service I was offered a nespresso and a biscuit then later a cold drink. I only have the highest praise for Swiss nail spa.
I received the monthly mailing special and did the gel lacquer which is the best thing since sliced bread! I always wanted to try it but worried about my own nails.
No chiping or fading the color lasted 3 weeks in perfect condition and my nails remain perfect underneath.
I cant rave enough about this place (especially because I have tried MANY other nail salons in Geneva) and its the only nail salon that really makes an effort to look after their clients, the service is the best in town!
5/5 A great place to go with your girl friends.
Ps: last time I mentioned to my nail tech how much I love catching up on the celebrity gossip when i visit there because they have all the latest US, people and vanity fair (saving on buying these magazines in geneva alone paid for my visit)!!
I recommend it - GO, you will not be sorry.

ent there with a buy club voucher and really liked it. The service was super-friendly. Pedicure was very good - it lasted for weeks! The manicure was ok as well, but the polish partly went off already the day after. However, this probably wasn't the fault of Swiss Nail Spa, it's just me, I have that very often...So, overall I'd recommend and would go again.
The atmosphere and the service was outstanding. The only problem that I encountered was that being a smoker of course the nails are somewhat yellow. There was so much filing done on the top layer to make the nails white that now all nails have broken quite far down due to the weakness.
Vasna and I had a little spat about the level of service, and it was resolved with professionalism. Well done to her and best wishes for her ongoing success.
Sorry girls but I went there last week and I was absolutely DELIGHTED. Not only the service, the atmosphere or the people are great but my manucure was crazy good!!!
I have done several of them in Geneva and I never found a place like this.
I recommend it to all of you, do not stay on the bad experience because you did not get a meeting as quick as you would, try it again!

I went to Swiss Nail Spa with a voucher from the buyclub and had no problems at all. I was treated very well and professionally and enjoyed it very much.
The pedicure was thorough and well done (no problems with cuticles) and the manicure was perfect. Together with drying they took about 2 hours. My nail polish lasted a week which is what I expected.
The salon is very busy but for me that was fun and gave me confidence that I'm in a good place.
I've been in Geneva for 4 years and have tried many nail salons and for me swiss nail spa was the best so far.
I have another appointment for next month and if the treatment is the same this will be my regular nail spa from now.

I was very disappointed by Swiss Nail Spa for various reasons:
- the staff wasn't very friendly, nor welcoming. My manicurist was late...and as taken by surprise...as if she didn't know I had an appointment (taken several weeks before)
- they knew I had a voucher, therefore the manicurist didn't spend a lot of time and attention on my feet and hands (started 15' after a lady who had the same treatment and was still done about 15' before her.....)
- my feet were definitely not soft at the end of the pedicure and the polish on my hand nails was already starting to come off the day after.....
- when she was done working on my hands, she left me on a chair and started working on another customer...she completely forgot me and i had to ask another person if i could go...nobody cared to check if my nails were dry or whatever...as i left, they just took my voucher, without so much of a 'goodbye, thank you'...my manicurist? she didn't even bother say goodbye....
the place is really small, I couldn't relax at all...as I was sitting right next to another lady who was talking and talking in a very loud voice...
I wouldn't recommend that place...I'm sure there are plenty of other beauty salons in Geneva which are cheaper and where you feel much more welcome.

I also used a BuyClub voucher to go try Swiss Nail Spa for the first time.
I was kindly suggested a few time slots which suited me.
The girls were smiling and attentive to by needs, my mani-pedi was very good and the whole experience very relaxing.
My little girl even got her bit of attention with her nails done which gave me plenty of time to relax!
Thank you Vesna for such a great concept!

OK, so that was the worst spent money EVER!!!!
Ladies (and some gents if that's their thing), if you want a decent mani/pedi I highly suggest to find another place.
First of all the staff was really rude and would not accommodate me since I had a coupon - in other words, I was treated differently. Second of all, it was unhygienic and if I really want to gamble and a get fungus infection on my nails then I would go to this place. YUK!!
I'll stick with my nail salon in Globus.
p.s. TOUPIE_2: I'm not a malice person nor feeding lies, just offering my review based on my experience as it BuyClub requested. I do not appreciate the inuendos. You are just reinforcing the fact that you do not treat clients well.

I was unable to get an appointment as they said they were full for the buyclub vouchers. When I asked if perhaps I could just have the manicure they were able to give me one appointment but unfotunately I couldnt make that one.
I was told there was a waiting list and I would be added to it. I asked if they were going to extend the life of the voucher (as some other places have done) as they clearly had a number of people waiting but I was told the manageress had said no. Maybe if she had done this, her staff would not have had to work so hard and do so much overtime, and she may have had repeat custom from people like me. Obviously I wont be going there now! Shame.
On the plus side - English spoken and the girl I spoke to called me back with a time for the manicure which was nice.

Based on the other reviews, I think I was lucky to have no problems in getting an appointment and all went smoothly. I'm afraid that my lasting impression of Nail Spa is 'ouch!'. Several of my cuticles were hacked at until they bled and then literally hurt for for a couple of days. I'm not brave enough to go back.
Friendly staff but .....
There was a bit of drama where they cancelled my appointment and did not have alternatives to offer within the voucher period. To their credit, they did squeeze me in and all was well.
It was not the best mani / pedi ever: My cuticles were not well removed and the top coat was sticky and smudged right away. Then the mani cracked in 2 days.
Might go again if I can get a half price pedi only, but for a manicure even I would do a better job myself ...

I agree with many others that it seems kind of hit or miss depending on who your nail technician is.
Pros: Loved that they speak english and that the atmosphere was very friendly. They will offer you something to drink, etc and not all places seem to offer that kind of service anymore. I was pleased with the attitude of the employees - everyone seemed nice and cheery.
Cons: I'm not sure if my technician has had much training. Coming from America I have had a million pedicures and this one was just okay. For a Mani/Pedi it took almost two hours (yikes). And on my hands, my nails weren't all uniformly shaped/length. Also she ran out of time when another appt came in so I didn't get a clear top coat on my toes! (I did it myself when I got home)
Ultimately I would buy another voucher and I would go again just because it is nice to be pampered and not break the bank. However definitely not the best salon experience I have had.

Went for the mani/pedi with buyclub voucher. Technician was friendly, polish and treatment OK but nothing spectacular. What I disliked most was the lack of fresh air (it was a hot day), was happy to get outside again, the "chemical" smells were getting too much for me.
This was the first nail spa in the past 10 years of my nail-spa-going that managed to do a nail cover that lasted for more than a week vs. Usual 3 days. I don't know what is it - a product, a master or a magic, but I will definitely be back for more of it.
I recently used my Buyclub voucher there and ended up with a great manicure and pedicure. I have to admit though I was a bit miffed when the nail polish I already had on was not removed but filed, buffed and painted over?! And my feet were left red raw and sore for a week afterwards from the violent buffing! But I liked my technician - she was very nice, and apologetic for being late, and made me feel at home, Despite my wounds and old nail polish, I would still go back - the polish lasted for a whole week and for me that is a record!!
I booked via e-mail and was given a wrong time for my appointment (17.45 instead of 15.45). When I arrived, they were about to close and told me that I had mixed up the time, although it had been their fault ( I looked it up in my e-mail afterwards). So I had to go home without getting a treatment, and at my next appointment I was a bit late due to work, I tried to call several times, but no one answered. When I arrived, my technician was very unfriendly, criticised me for being late and then did only half of the treatment, to recompense the lost time. If they had not scheduled me wrong on my first appointment, that would not have happened.... the nail polish was very good and rested a long time.
I had to book 2 months in advance (I wasted one voucher, now I know how the voucher system works ; you're at the bottom of their priority lists!).
I arrived 5 min earlier, was told to come back in 10', came back, and was told to wait for another 15', which turned out to be 40 in total.
The girl who took care of me was very friendly. But the nail polish - for some reason - started bubbling after less than an hour. I had to remove it on the hands, and left it on the toes, which lasted only 3-4 days.
Basically, no, I wouldn't waste money like that again.

I used my Buy club voucher very recently and was really pleased with the servcie I got. They were clearly run off their feet but didn't make me feel "in the way" nor did they rush through my mani/pedi.
My nail varnish did bubble unfortunately but the pedicure still looks good after 4 days.
Everyone is really friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
I'll be going back again soon.
My nail varnish did bubble unfortunately but the pedicure still looks good after 4 days.

This place is totally hit and miss. On one occasion, when I went with a buyclub voucher, they were so late in taking me that I decided not to use the voucher for that visit as I didnt want to be rushed through my session (which was the intention). The technician then refused to listen to my request to cut my toe and fingernails, telling me it was "nicer" the way she had in mind. I was fuming when I left.
I went back recently and had a very nice experience with a different technician, however, four of my nails had major chips in them within 2 days. One nail chipped within hours (while I was having dinner?!). I think the technician laid on the varnish too thickly.
In any other city, I would have probably found somewhere else to go to, but because this is Geneva, it benefits from not having any real competitors.
On the positive, the girls are friendly and welcoming.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great colours for nails but the final finish on my feet could have been better. Depending on who your technician is I find you get a different treatment. Some of the technicians really seem to take it seriously and are great while others so-so, I got a nice but so-so one. Frankly went to Brussels and came back with new feet. Not found any pedicurist or podologist to ever match that kind of enthusiasm or professionalism here. They were frankly the best my feet have been in a long time. Now have to find a way to go to Brussels every 2 months. :)
I had a mani/pedi with my voucher bought on buy club and took my friend along to have the same at the of May. Her technician seemed to be much better than mine - my nail varnish bubbled and I had to remove it a couple of says later. I would go back but try and find out the technician' name my friend had - I think she was from Thailand.
I have been disappointing by this mani/pedi and had the same issue that Cheryl and Oonagh: very long (more than 2 hours), bubbles and the vernish never dried. I quickly had to remove it because it was awful.
After trying a few locations in Geneva, I went to Swiss Nail Spa with a gift BuyClub voucher for the first time.
I was warmly welcomed and treated by Karina, a real angel! My mani/pedi was simply perfectly done!
The atmosphere was very relaxed with everyone working in a good mood! LOVED IT - RECOMMEND IT - WILL DEFENITELY GO BACK.

Worst manicure & pedicure ever I was there over 2 and a half hours between 45 minutes delay and then service, nail varnish bubbled straight away and didn’t dry so I had to remove it when I got home as it looked awful. My toe nails are also not set very well but hopefully it will stay a few days at least but i doubt it.I think the issue is the nail technician was putting the varnish on to thick.
On a positive note, great location and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the manicurist made everyone of my fingers bleed (cuticles), she mishaped my nails, and the nailpolish bubbled immediately and came off the next day.
Onis: unfortunately I can't remember her name.

Cheryl, do you remember the name of a manicurist? Or how she looks like?
Unfortunately, i had the same problem with cuticles, blood and still have little scar. The nail polish was very good apart from that.

I get all my pedicures there and also tried the acrylic nails that, for the first time in many years, look great and don't break. My "nails angel" is Karina, lovely lady and super results from day one.
Brilliant service and fun environment. Felt like a girls night out!
Greeted at the door, coats were taken, smiles all around (cant tell you how odd that feels in GVA) coffee, teas and cold drinks were offered, nail polish was chosen and we started our 1 hr pedicure (about 10 min late - not complaining just a fact for time freaks)!
Vesna is a great host! The place is not huge but there is a feeling of space even when it got really busy. Vesna basicially does the PR (and you get a good laugh with her) and she is quick to help out the staff when they needed something. The staff are attentive I had Jeab (the Thai lady who speaks English) and I cant praise her enough - Julie had Karina who was just as fantastic.
Prices are the best: 90chf for a 1hr FULL PEDICURE !!!
We've already booked our next appointment.
If anyone wants to organize a champagne and pedicure party at Swiss Nail Spa COUNT US IN!!!!!
