BAL Folk – Dance Evening - Bern

Not so frequently, but sometimes it happens: Bal Folk in Bern
The evening is splitted in a
- 18.30: Workshop where one can learn the steps of the dances which are then played during the
- 20.00: Bal with Rent'Dedans and Le Chat qui Danse (end around 00.00).
The dances played are group and circle dances but also pair dances. There are no dance skills expected – you get some rough knowledge at the workshop and most group dances are easily learned. There are always some more experienced people to share their skills and a dance leader guides the group dances. So, every evening is fun :-).

rent'dedans unfortunately has no own website
The Band wants the Bals to be accessible for everyone and does not demand a fix entrance price. However, the band collects a participation during the evening. The indication is 10.-- for the Workshop and 20.-- for the Bal. Drinks are available at the bar and food can be brought by the participants – it is served as buffet.
If you come, just look out for me, I'll introduce the "glocals" to each other and show you the first steps :-)
