Are you a fan of stand up comedy?

Have you ever wondered how comedians get on stage and make a room full of strangers laugh?

Are you interested in getting on stage yourself?

The Geneva Stand Up Comedy group is hosting free workshops for complete beginners interested in performing stand up comedy.

There is no experience necessary, just bring yourself and your ideas.

The sessions will focus on improving writing and performance skills through feedback from group members, all in a fun, safe, supportive environment.

Each week, participants will perform 2 minutes of material (jokes/funny stories), and eventually develop their own 5 minute set to be performed at a "graduation" show later this fall. Sessions will occur each week for about 7 - 8 weeks.

We have moved our workshops from Sunday nights at Mr. Pickwick's Pub to Wednesday nights at Mulligan's Irish Pub (across the street from Manor).
