Test yourself how much you know about Chinese in Mainland China/Hong Kong/Singapore.. and have fun.. ! The game will be carry out primarily in English, with some Putonghua/Cantonese

Need to know for gamers beforehand:
• 3 or 4 gamers for each team, max. 5 group, i.e. 20 participants in total. Each team need to nominate a person as point of contact. Would be fun if you can come up with a team name.
• You can form your own team, or we can help to group you with others.
• Each team is expected to contribute a gift valuing no more than CHF30. ALL gifts will be collected and given out to gamers during quiz night on spot. Even if you do not want to play but just interested to tag along to enjoy the fun (or come cheer for your friends), we would appreciate if you can still let us know so we can have a better headcount.

How will the game play out:
• You will be asked questions about “Chinese stuff” in Mainland China or Hong Kong or Singapore. Questions will cover a number of categories:
- History
- Culture
- Politics
- Entertainment
- Sport
• Questions carry different scoring weight: 10 points, 30 points, 50 points & 100 points. For the first 3 you get to choose the category but for 100 points, you won’t know until hear the question.
• Each category carrying different scoring has 10 questions only, i.e. 10 questions about sports for 10 points and 10 questions about sports for 20 points, etc. You will have to make another choice when the question runs out.
• In the first round, each team will take turn to answer 10 questions of their choice. You will win the score assigned to the question if you’re right and 0 for vice versa.
• The second round is in competitive answering mode for 20 more questions (5 for each scoring weight). You will win the score assigned to the question if you get it right, but got the points deducted from your score if you’re wrong.
• Each team will have 4 special treats which they can use once for each in any time of the game:
- Call a friend
- Ask the floor
- 50-50 (i.e. eliminated half of the choices for a multiple choice question)
- Give it to another team to answer

And the winner is…
• Obviously, the team with the highest score at the end of the night will be our winner. They will take home the donated prize with the highest value, 1st runner-up with the 2nd highest values and so on. The ultimate objective is to have some FUN together!!
• We will still scouting for a venue. Maybe in a pub that could tolerant some noise. Everyone coming would be expected to pay for their own F&B. Would be cool if you can order “something” as we want to be able to use the venue again.
