Free Yoga for Peace
Sunday, June 12th, 2016 @ 17:00
Red Cross Museum, Geneva, Geneva
Curtain-raiser for the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations, hosted by Isha, one of the partners of the Indian Mission and the United Nations for the International Day of Yoga event at the Palais des Nations.
FREE Yoga for Peace
Practice yoga in famous sites of peace in Geneva.
A small group of us will go inside the United Nations building and do yoga there, and then we will continue at the Red Cross Museum. Weather permitting, we will continue outdoors, but it looks like it's going to be a wet one!
We will be doing simple practices that you can learn safely on the internet. All aged 7+ are welcome to join and participate in this event.
We will photograph the event to raise awareness of yoga!
A trained teacher will be there on the day, to give you guidance on the practices. Please familiarise yourself with the sequence in advance:

The video is a series of 5 minute practices from Upa Yoga (=sub yoga). Unlike asanas, which should only be learnt from a trained teacher, these are safe for everyone. You can't go worng ;)
There is plenty more supporting material here:

Please email [email protected] with your name and phone number if you will be joining us.
Looking forward to seeing you!
