What is this outing about?
Les Etiollets is an unforgettable wild and scenic itinerary for those who want to discover the hidden side of Salève: le Bonhomme, le Sphinx, le Trou de la Mule, la Grotte de la Mule, la Grotte de la Table, and many other places.
However, it is a difficult and technical trail that does not appear on any map. And there is a reason for that: it is steep and vertiginous, and most of time you need to scramble (up to climbing level 3). It goes up across the climbers' paradise at Le Coin and ends up at the huge Savoie flag painted on the rocks (you can see it from Geneva).

-Meeting point: bus stop Veyrier-Douane (bus #8 to Veyrier-Douane, do not take bus #8 to Veyrier-Tournettes).
-Meeting time: 14:00, leaving 14:15

What do you need to be?
-You are an agile scrambler with firm mountain foot
-You do not suffer from vertigo
-You have some climbing or mountaineering or via ferrata experience

-Mountain or trekking shoes with good grip (no sneakers!)
-Harness with sling and carabiner

-Headlamp or torch
