Tough day’s walking with an early start. Distance about 18km with 700m ascent and 650m descent, about 5 to 6 hours plus stops. We are mostly at medium altitude away from the mountain ridges, so hopefully not too hot conditions. Public transport only for this one.
As usual please note this is for fit walkers who are able to sustain a reasonable pace all day, so we can keep to planned timings, and you need to have already done some hiking this year. It's a group activity so we walk as a group, not individuals. Sorry but it’s unsuitable for kids or dogs.
As with most of my hikes this year I have not done this one before.
Please bring suitable hiking gear, a picnic, and plenty to drink as nothing en route.
We get back to Lausanne in the evening.
