Mountain hike: Cret de la Goutte
Saturday, April 26th, 2014 @ 09:00
Jura, Geneva
Update 24 April: the hike is full (Oxygène members can drop me a line)
Coming Saturday 26 April, I am organising a hike at the southern part of the Jura, about 25 km from Geneva.
We meet at Bernex P+R (!) and drive to Lancrans. We will start the hike by going gradually uphill - partly through forests partly through open terrain. The hike is almost circular. We will go up to the Cret de la Goutte (1621 metres) which offers a good view over the whole region.
The hike will about five hours (excluding breaks) and has a gradient of about 860 metres. It is about 10 km. long. It is a rather easy hike for fit persons with some hiking experience.
The departure is at 9h00 from Bernex P+R, transport by cars (shared petrol costs, 6 Euro). Details will be sent to the participants.
You will need enough food and drinks, suitable clothes, plus
your passport and some euros – and a rucksack to put this all in, and
your hiking boots of course (no running shoes).
The hike is organised by the small hiking association Oxygene 74
http://rando-74.pagespro-orange.fr. There is a participation fee of 5 Euro
for a daily license of the French hiking federation FFRP, including
insurance.
If you want to participate please drop me a line giving your telephone number and mentioning whether you will come by car.
Best wishes,
Bert
