On Sunday February 15, we could not do (because bad weather) our hike to this summit. We will try to do it on this Sunday May, 10.
We start from Chalets de Chevenne (Chapelle d’Abondance). Through the Col de Vernaz (Franco-Swiss border) arrive at the Chalet de Calaz.
If the travers is crossable, we will continue to Cornettes de Bise. If not, we'll going straight to the Rochers de Chaudin 2300m.
Great views over the Dent and Château d’Oche, Mont de Grange, Lac Léman, etc…
Down by same way.
Elevation gain 1083m (C. de Bise1215m). Distance about 10 km.
The slopes are steep.
Maximum 8 experimented and sporty people.
This hike will be only done with nice weather.

We meet at Gaillard, behind the customs of Moellesullaz, in front of the Librairie de France at 7:30. Inscription is obligatory.

Equipment: Good shoes, gaiters, snowshoes, hat, gloves, warm and waterproof clothes, sticks, picnic, drink. All participants must be well-prepared and have all equipment with themthem.
Formalities: The newcomers are asked to fill out the registration form http://assoc.pagespro-orange.fr/rando-74/Adhesion.htm and deliver it to the organizer on Sunday morning.
The hike is organised by the small hiking association Oxygene 74 http://assoc.pagespro-orange.fr/rando-74 There is a participation fee of 5 Euro for a daily license of the French hiking federation FFRP.
Passengers in the vehicle pay directly to the driver € 0.10 per km.
