Motorized or people can rent a car are welcome.

To leave on the heights of Cordon in the parking of the Perret (1,276 m) or lower if the road is not plowed. The route is planned in a loop.
Climb to the top of the Hermey ski lift (1,541 m). Climb on the promontory of Planet or go around it by the north ... (wooden cross at 1830 m): panorama on Sallanches, the High Valley of the Arve, the Mont Blanc massif. A handrail for the descent of the promontory on the plateau des Bénés. Continue south-west to the Petit-Pâtre shelter (1915 m). Note the tip of the Miaz and the snow on the foothills of the neighboring mountains.
Snacks and descent. Cross the Plateau des Bénés completely. Bypass Tête Noire and go down the track to the parcauto du Perret.

If you do not have your own snowshoes, you can rent them in advance (for a list of rental places see http://www.sindy.ch/snowshoes.doc - in addition, there is Cactus Sports in Carouge).
You will need: suitable shoes, poles and gaiters, warm clothes, sun cream and sunglasses, your passport and some Euros, drinks and picnic.

Price 5 Euros including insurance. Transport: passenger pays 13 Euros to the driver.
