The idea is to go climbing outdoors if weather is good, but we have many back up plans *** if it is not.

Please bring: hiking shoes, water, food. If you also have climbing equipment, please bring it.**

Please state when you register if you have climbing equipment and/or some experience. *Beginners Welcome. We can do different runs easy, medium and difficult.

I can accept in this event a maximum of:
A) 4 complete beginners and/or without equipment
B) 4 climbers with limited experience with individual equipment (harness, climbing shoes, helmet )
C) 4 climbers who can lead a climb and have full equipment (harness, climbing shoes, helmet,rope, quick-draws, carabiners, etc)
No Children under 18 please.

These groups will mix the whole time.

**N.B. This activity is equipment-supported by virtual group Saltamontes. You are expected to chip in our fund to get new stuff. Your contribution towards getting new equipment should be 20chf if you have no equipment (group A) and 10chf if you only have your personal equipment (group B). You do not have to contribute if you bring all equipment (group C) or you report a personal financial problem and get my reply. Thank you for your understanding.

*** If the weather is not good in the morning, we will go to a semi-indoor climbing wall. It has a roof, but open walls, so you can see the mountains. Bring 8CHF (as well as your fund's contribution) for the entrance. Bring warm clothes as it does feel like in the mountains!
If it is good in the afternoon, then we go climbing outdoors as planned, but to a place not too far. If the weather is still bad in the afternoon then the plan is to go indoor swimming. Bring a swimming costume just in case (entrance is also 8CHF, I think). If it is medium then we'll do a Via Ferrata. Please bring your VF equipment if you have. Otherwise it can be rented for 25CHF. In this short ferrata we have a monkey bridge, footbridges, ladders... and plenty of opportunities to burn energy and stress. It is a difficult ferrata, but there are many exit ways so if you've never done a ferrata before, but you are fit, you should try.

As you can see I have many backup plans.... something will work out ;)

PLEASE MIND THE ENVIRONMENT. There is no need to drive on your own. Try to be flexible and ride with others. It's part of the social experience :)

We might walk to venue, but if needed I have a car and can pick up people taking train to Leysin Feydey station.

Please add a message when you join the event to let us know if you offer or need a ride and your preferred meeting point.
