Criminals do not have to go far to perpetrate their activities, they can reach us from the comfort of their own homes.
This interactive presentation will cover the main threats all of us are facing on the internet and via our interconnected devices.
It will focus mainly on threats from financial attacks and fraud, covering the main risks we face in cyber security such as malware, MITM, 419 attacks, etc. and will show you how you can mitigate the risks of becoming a victim of fraud with tools and best practices.
The session is in the form of a discussion with demonstrations of some of the ideas and tools, according to the interest of the audience.
The level of the presentation is low to medium, meaning that you only have to have basic knowledge of IT to participate. More advanced topics will be covered in a follow up.
