Get an apartment in Verbier together?
It's getting a bit late to do this.  But I was thinking of getting an apartment in Verbier for a month or two toward the end of the season.  March/April.  Even though I will only be going up on weekends.

I'm looking for super easygoing people.  I will be spending my days hitting slopes and nights, hitting the town.  I'd hope to have people who realize that this is just a few fun weekends and that I intend to make the most of it.

My thoughts on accomodation is basically to be right in the village.  Get a 1 bedroom apartment.  2 people in bedroom, and two people outside.  Although last year we did 4 people in a large studio and had the most excellent time.  Price is going to have to be based on accomodation left on offer, and how picky people are about their sleeping arrangements.  But trust me, I will hunt down the best possible deal.

Keep in mind that although I will just be spending long weekends up there, there is oppertunity to have the apt mostly to yourself during the week as it would still be ours.  So it's possible to book that week of ski holiday!

If your interested, send me a message and little bit about yourself.  We'll take it from there!

 Hi
Some friends and I are looking to do the same thing.  What is the best
way of tracking down an apartment?  Are there specialist sites or companies that deal with
long term lets?
Thank
you

Your best bet in terms of time investment is to go up to Verbier early on a Sat. morning and do the tour of the tourist office and the different agencies. I suggest all of the "decision makers" go together so you can say yes/no right there. You will need to put 50% down with the rest on Dec 1st. (I should say that the winter rental season is Dec.1  - April 30).

Also if you buy your season lift ticket before the end of Sept, you save 12.5% on the regular price. You can get it at the Medran ticket office.

In case, there are rental websites (just google Verbier and chalets) but they are most used for weekly rentals rather than the season.

Good luck.
