Hi, does anybody knows of good outlets selling or renting skis and related material? This could be either in Geneva or neighboring France. I would like to get deals on last year models rather than pay the new model prices. I would be equally interested in used skis but I have not been able to find any shop selling second hand equipment.

you can rent skis and snowboards for a bit, the season or the year at migros centrale in carouge: http://www.migros-geneve.ch/html/extref.jsp?extref=http://www.migroslocationskis.ch/
you can buy used stuff at this store in carouge which sells consignment equipment. not a huge selection, but you may get lucky:
