Cost for a morning lesson would be something like this; Lift to the resort, full day ski pass, proper lunch then lift home after the last lift shuts.

I'm BASI 3 qualified Ski Instructor and BASP Certified Ski Guide and would love a proper lunch, ski pass and lift there and back in exchange for a couple of hours ski teaching in the morning (normally just do if for free - more fool me!) 

So please let me know if you want to get together and maybe we could do a joint venture - seems like you have loads of interest.

PS:  What's a "proper lunch" - I'm used to a sandwich on the chair lift inbetween lessons - I dream of a proper lunch!!

I live in Lausanne and will happily go to any resort near by, though I know Verbier and Cham best so recomend them.

I dont think I can do group lessons as that will likely upset the official ski schools who are not keen on any form of competition. 2 people would be the max.

By the way, I've also had a friend express interest in doing some lessons on a similar basis for snowboarders.

Carolyn,  A "proper lunch" would be something hot and cooked in one of the on mountain restaurants. We can talk about perhaps doing something together next time we bump into eachother.

I'm likely to spend the first half of Jan in Chamonix and the second half in Verbier. Then the lessons are over.

So if you are interested in some informal ski lessons for a very reasonable trade (lift pass, lunch and possibly transport assistance) send me a private message with dates that interest you (Weekdays or weekends).
