Hi Maria,
Unfortunately, this is a trip that requires some experience. There are a number of itineraries you can do on the Vallée Blanche, some more technical than others, although the standard route is considered a blue, and the guide will take a descent that is suitable for the level of the group.
However, you can always go to the top of the Aiguille du Midi for incredible views of the glacier, Mt.Blanc up close and the Alpine landscape - i highly recommend it if you do make a trip up to Chamonix! :)
