am looking for a big chalet for around 10 persons (or even more) for the weekend of 24-26 januari. Any place as long as within 2 hours drive from Geneva.

Hi!!
If your party becomes smaller for some reason (up to 8) I can suggest Residence St Michel at Les Carroy (Grand Massif), 50 minutes away from Geneva:

A truly lovely place but with a fix limit of 8 people I am afraid. There is a smaller apartment in the same chalet which can host another 6 people but it is already booked for that week.
