Hello, we are thinking of going to the carnaval in March. We want to be there for the Wednesday which seems to be the big day/night. Anyone else thinking of going? Any tips?

Hi Isabel, Wednesday is the last day/night. On Monday and Wednesday there is the regular parade during the day. In the evening/night you find bright atmosphere in the lanes and the associations' cellars. But Tuesday is much more colorful. During the day there is a "tohouwabhoo" and in the eveing there is a parade from the "Guggenmusik" and different stages where they play. The city is full of visitors and "Fasnächtler". I wish you a lot of fun between Feb 27 and Feb 29 :-)
