Hi!

I heard about the Basel Festival next week (2-4 of march), and was thinking of coming over from Geneva for a night.

Can anyone please give some information on the festival?
I heard that people go out on the street at 4 am (hence the staying over for the night...) with torches, and then again at the afternoon.

Can you also direct me to a decent B&B or a hotel near the starting point of the 4 am event, or along the route?

Also, if anyone is going to the festival, I'd love to join a group of Basel locals...
