i'm both native in swiss german and standard german (if that's even an issue) and i'm looking for a way to improve my french. what did you have in mind?

First of all, thanks for your answer...

It'll be really interesting to exchange our languages...

When I was teenager, I spend 1 month per year in a German family; near Kassel...

And since, I didn't practice and I lost everything...    :(

If you are interesting to help me to retrieve my abilities of German speaker, I could help you to improve your French...    :D

I don't know when you're able to make this exchange...

I am free every day after 7pm (except friday due to the badminton's training session) or during the week-end...

Have you ever done this kind of exercice ???

sorry for the late reply. i've never done this kind of exercise, but i'm sure we'll figure something out.:-)

i'm sure your german will come back in no time! i spent one summer in montpellier and went to university in fribourg (but unfortunately not much french speaking done there). so i'm happy about any possibility practicing my french.

right now i'm free tuesdays and thursdays after 6pm. and some weekends. how would you suggest we proceed from here? i'm open to any suggestions.:-)

Maybe you'll be a perfect French speaker after our meetings...   ;)

I'll be proud to help you to improve my native language !!!   :p

This Thrusday, I am leaving for one week in Paris...

I suggest you to meet us, next week, one evening, just to meet us, speak together and evaluate our level...

We can have a drink, and then try to speak French for you and German for me...  ;)

After that, we could plan to meet us regulary for language exchange (half in French and half in German)...

For each difficulties, we can use English to give some explainations...

What do you think about this plan ???

i doubt my french will be ony any acceptable level anytime soon, as i just found out recently during a phone debate with a french person looking for someone who doesn't work in my company (and he was a slow thinker...).:-/ so i do really need some help there:-)

your plan sounds fine! i suggest we meet up the first week of september (after the 5th), if that's ok with you?
