Hi Randy,

There are different agencies with different concepts. Some offer full service, so you don't have to do anything. The downside is that they cut a commission close to 30 % of the rent (on the other hand, prices during the big fairs in Basel are much higher than usual).

There's a site where you can manage your own profile (free of charge) and set your own price: www.expo-rooms.com. The commission runs at 10%, as far as I remember. The downside:  you meet the customer, hand over the key, collect the rent etc.

Are you still interested in apartment for Baselworld? I will rent a very good modern new apartment, 1 min walk to Claraplatz, so very close to the Messe.

There are 3 rooms: 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, big living room with kitchen area, very big balcony with the garden view, a big bathroom with the washing machine and guest toilette. All furniture is new. If you have any questions- let me know.

In case you're still in need of an apartment for Baselworld, I am renting out my neat and modern 65 m2 apartment, which is located within 3mins walking-distance to the fair grounds. It comes fully furnished with two queen-sized beds, an equiped kitchen with dining area for four people, a bathroom with toilet and shower/tub, balcony, wifi, a grocery store just across the street and a direct bus to both the Swiss and German railway station.
