two cool places I like.
Acqua Pub with its outside area in the summer
otherwise an alternative place like Cargo Bar directly on the river.

In the evening on the banks of river Rhine, just behind the cathedral there is "chill am Rhy", a quiet place, where you can have a drink and chat with local people. It's ionly during summer til end of August.
For a good beer and food I go to Restaurant Schnabel, Rümelinplatz, behind Hotel Basel.
