(Yes, another) your French / my English exchange appeal... or peut-etre, your French, my photography...

Okay, so picture the scene.... I'm as English as a stick of rock that has "bulldog" and "cup of tea" embedded in red capitals from head to toe and finally, after 5 years, I've accepted inevitability and been taking daily French lessons; the idea being to rise slightly beyond niveau "idiot" and attain the giddy heights of niveau "capable de faire de grandes fautes".  Nearly three months later and it turns out that the French thing has stuck better than I anticipated and depending upon whether we are talking comprehension or speaking I'm somewhere between level B1 and B2.  French lessons are going to end soon and I really want to maintain and improve which means using the French on a regular basis, not as easy as one might think in Geneva.

Sooooo.... Would anyone like to become a kinda regular French correspondent avec moi?  I'm happy to offer my slightly aloof English in return, or if you prefer you can see I take some reasonable pictures and would be happy to assist in that regard if you have any requests.  All contributions gratefully received!  I'm kinda hoping for a native French speaker which I know means I'm looking on the wrong website really but hey, I have to be optimistic...

Optimism in life always lead somewhere ^^.

I am sure there are plenty of native French speakers on this site then it is probably a matter of motivation, time and flexibility.  I am quite busy and "stuck" with my business here in Ferney, if you fancy popping in my Office at the Centre International d'Affaires in between clients appointments, you can enjoy some tea and chat!  Alternatively, if you do not mind not having a lie in on Saturday, there is a nice morning market here so you can practice in real life situations which is the best to improve. There are also nice walks to do around here, so another chance to practice and learn more vocabulary!

in return, i wouldn't mind benefitting from your photography skills which I might use for my FB page or other use and keep for myself.
