As far as I can remember wordpress has this option, so you can tell wordpress that you want seo to be included, then you should bring your own keywords and description. Alexa can also be a big help. Also try to google "seo and wordpress" then your small problems might be solved. Dont forget to create a google account for seo.

single keyword wont work! just put the multiple text keywords in the discription and keep the page titles neat and clean. don't try to use fancy things. Url rewrites rules works great and help the search engine spiders to index pages properly.For example Look at the glocals.ch url :)
