Depending if you want a vertical OR an horizontal security bar the cost varies from CHF 850 to CHF 1300 ( new ) roughly including labour, which needs to be quite meticulous. When purchasing a used bar, a very qualified craftsman/handyman is necessary and the departing tenant who would sell you then needs to pay for plugging the hole in his/her entrance door... Becomes costly. Unless you find a new apartment which is already fitted w/ such Security Bar ( plan B ).
