You could also telephone the Museum's Press Officer, Catherine Terzaghi, on 022 418 26 54 or [email protected]
The Museum also has a newsIetter, which you can sign up for on their website.
Hope this helps. Ritchie
[quote]Hi there, i am just wondering if anyone knows someone french or french speaking who has studied history of art, or is a art historian or is a guide. What i am looking for is a guide in french of the art and history museum in the old town. I will pay as per normal rates for a guide. I love to learn more about art and in this museum there are many different artists and periods and so is perhaps a great opportunity to meet on a multiple occasions with a guide to cover different artists and times.
I would like to do it in french aswell.
Thanks alot

I am a museologist (although not very well French speaking) I am very interested to follow some tours in French.
It might be an idea to get a group together, and get into a tour. For most museum and tourguides won't appreciate it when you have your private tourguide for free (trust me I know), we can better join in with a group.
cheers
