My landlord just told me I'll have to leave my apartment as of August 1st. I am on holiday half the month so it'll be a hard thing. So here I go:
I am looking for a furnished room or apartment, between 600-1000 chf, if possible not too far away from the city center, in a non-smoking place, don't mind having room mates, on the contrary. I am a meticulous and clean person and also very sociable :-)
Let me know if you know of any place that might be available!

That's an awfuly short notice, which does not look very legal. In case you want to stay a bit longer see with ASLOCA. They may be able to help you to extend your lease.

My fiance and I have an extra room in our apartment we are looking to rent it out from Aug 3-Sept 3 if you're interested. We have a 2 bedroom flat and will be in Beijing for the month for the Summer Olympics so the place would be empty. Let me know.

The apartment is near Malley, on Rue Couchirard. The rent is $800 for the month and it has free wireless internet, cable TV, washer/dryer, free parking evenings and weekends. I am not sure of the measurements but when my fiance returns home tonight I will ask him and get back to you. The apartment and spare room is quite large. In the bedroom there is a futon bed, and two desks that line the wall. We are getting married in September so currently it has a lot of wedding-related items scattered about, but we can move some of it into our room if you decide to take it.
