My (native) English for your French

I'm looking for a native French speaker for conversational practice in Geneva. I learned French for work in sub-Saharan Africa, so I can talk to a francophone African about post-conflict development for days, but I can't understand Europeans talking about daily life! Please help! I've taught (American) English in a previous career and have very flexible hours.

Hello,

I am looking for a native English tutor to teach two young girls ages 7 and 4 that will be relocating to the US.  The family lives in France just outside of Geneva.  Please let me know if you would be interested.

Thank you!

Hi Lara!

Have you had any luck? I am in the same boat... American who just moved to geneva and trying to learn french! However, it's been near impossible to speak without such a thick American accent! I am in a French program, but I wanted to apply my coursework to real conversation and interaction around geneva. Have you tried the language exchange meetup group? Let me know how it has all worked out for you!

Hi Lara, Hi Tanya,

I am French and German and would enjoy helping you practising.

I am looking for some people who could correct my english mistakes and make me improve while having entertaining afterwork discussions.

Would you be interested in practising our different languages and have a drink at the same time?

Let me know.
