My French, your English

Hi fox!

Im a french native speaker, and a student here in Geneva. My english is not bad, but I want to improve my pronunciation. My goal is that people wouldn't be able to find out Im French by the first 5 minutes of conversation, do you think you would be able to help me? :D

I used to teach french to American families and American/British students, so I think I could make quite a good language partner ;- Whatever your age, your job, your gender is , Im very open-minded as long as you are an native English speaker from any english speaking country, and willing to teach and learn in a very chilled way.

Looking forward to hear from you!
Hania

Hello Hania,

If you are working on your accent, you might want to look at this product that was developed at the EPFL in Lausanne.

Look at the section "method" which will explain the differences between the major languages in terms of the sounds and how the training package will help. In the "foundations" part, click on the chart. You will see the different languages and the sounds. Notice that French and British English do not overlap. There is some overlap with American English. This leads to the difficulties with pronunciation.

Cost for one language (English) would be CHF 149.

Good luck.

Hello Hania

I dont mind helping you improve your English diction . I am from India, lived in UK too and now working with WHO. My french is at Zero level  and would love to improve my french vocabulory and grammer

Weekdays are pretty hectic and the best time to do this would be weekend ( sat or sunday afternoon)

Hello Hania,

I am from London.  I have lived there all my life and my mother tounge is English.  I would be happy to help you with pronounciation, in return for a chance to practice my French.
