Hi Yoko! I am an absolute beginner in Japanese. I will be going to Japan on vacation at the end of October and I would like to get some basic conversation practice. In exchange I can offer you conversation in English and/or German ( I am from Austria).

Hi Yoko-san! Hajimemashite! I didn't realise that I couldn't post in Japanese on the site, so my earlier message was deleted! Anyway, if you haven't found a language-exchang partner yet, I would be very happy to do an exchange with you. I'm fluent in both English and French, and studied Japanese intensively for three years but now I'm starting to forget a little so I'd like to catch up on lost ground
In my experience, casual conversational exchanges don't always work very well, so I'm looking for something more "structured" (maybe involving a text or an article, also kanji tests and stuff like that). I have experience teaching both English and French so would be able to do the same for you if that's the kind of approach you're looking for. Do get in touch if you're interested!
