My Japanese for your German in Zurich

Hi,

I am Japanese and have just moved to Zurich with my husband from Lausanne. I am looking for a German speaking language partner. I currently go to an intensive German course (B1 level) but I would like to speed up my German speaking skills.  If you are interested in learning Japanese, can we do language exchange? It would be great if we can meet once/twice a week somewhere in central Zurich.

I speak English (fluent), French (good) and Indonesian (conversation level). My professional background is marketing. I have a lot of experience in doing language exchange and teaching Japanese to people in the past.

Looking forward to your reply!

Hi Yasuko-san

I would be interested. I have lived in Japan for 4 years and used to speak ok. But I think I have forgotten much of it and could do with refreshing.

Also I never got very far with Kanji and would like to try again..

I was teaching English and German (mostly conversational) for many years in many different institutions.

My mother is High-German speaker and I grew up in Switzerland so I speak dialect as well.

I'd be more than happy to do an exchange with you!!Laughing are you free in the daytime?

I live and work in Zurich Schwamendingen/Oerlikon.

Send me an e-mail if you are interested!

Hi Jana-san,

Thanks for your quick reply!

I would be also very happy to help you with your Japanese.  I go to ZH center everyday. I do not work at this moment so I am flexible in the afternoon (I go to a German language school in the morning from Monday to Friday).

If you are free sometime this weekend, we can meet somewhere, even for a short time. If not, we can meet next week. Please email me at yasuko_furuichi(at)hotmail.com
