I'm looking for a future private German or French teacher, (I'm learning both with somewhat more emphasis on German since I moved to Basel) someone who is not affiliated with one of the language schools in Basel. I will need more flexible lesson schedules than the regular group classes can offer, and I also feel that the rates charged for private  lessons by the schools are exorbitant and that they make a huge margin of profit on them.

I would rather pay an enthusiastic private teacher where he/she gets the money directly and we build up a good relationship.

If anyone knows of such a person, could you please tell me?
