Hello,
you should join the meetup group http://www.meetup.com/geneva-wordpress/
You can also look at the previous meetup and check the materials like slide show or link to help you, and post to their forum asking for help :-) or in your presentation profil.
Many good advanced users and professionals are there.

Did you check out the tutorials of Wordpress itself? In a few hours, you're an expert!
I find their possibilities amazingly extensive, but if you need a more advanced website you can try wix.com. They provide easy to make, very modern webistes, with amazing results at a cost of approx USD 100 a year.
