Yoru sewing skills for my... hmm... soap, maybe?

I need help with a non-standard and rather creative sewing project, i.e. cutting to measure and finding a way of temporarily fixing old sails to my gazebo, as sun protection.

I have a sewing machine, but I need help with taking the correct measurements for the pieces to be cut, deciding how to fixi the fabric to the gazebo, etc. That's where the creative part is, and I trust someone who knows how to sew must have enough of an insight to come up with good ideas.

In exchange, I can offer a batch delivery of homemade cold process soap or invites to the BBQs the gazebo is going to be dressed for! :-)

The easiest way is to fix holes into the fabric, with brass rings, then use ties to tie them to the gazebo :)
