i think it might have been mentioned before but i recommend that people who have a lot of books or dvds to lend out enter them in a program like librarything.com
it's easy for everyone to search by your username and see what you have, what's currently out and a great way for lenders to keep track of who has what. what say you?

And I'm all for it - I think a couple of people need to go ahead and post up their usernames and such so we can all see how it works and follow their example! Looking forward to a follow-up from either of you :-)

I'm pretty easy to find on there as you can search by location. There's another GOL member whose blog I drop by every now and then, but I can't remember his name.

It's a great website! My friends are big readers and it is a good way to see what everyone is reading and to get recommendations for my next book. Also, it's easy to search for folks in Geneva. Good stuff!
