1929 and now...
Back in 1929 Financial Crash it was said that some Wall Street Stockbrokers and Bankers JUMPED from their office windows and committed suicide when confronted with the news of their firms and clients financial ruin . . . Many people were said to almost feel a little sorry for them . . . . . .

In 2008 the attitude has changed somewhat:

Brings a new definition to the song 'it's raining men'!!!!

But in all seriousness, it's not just strictly the fault of bankers, a lot of them have no control over what is happening, it is a very complicated issue, and many people have contributed and are responsible for this. Even those people who got scared and decided to take all their money out of the bank, have contributed to the devaluation of their money and even further slide and devastation of the worlds financial situation.

To say it all, too many people have been pumping their life-style on virtual money.

I'm only sorry that the ones who will jump are the low rank people and their clients who lost retirement money, home or assets, while the fat cats get fatter and toast at the "business opportunities in the period of crisis".
