40+ meeting people. Where to go?

Hi! I have started to join in events with glocals people, newbies drinks, psycho club, etc. and I really enjoy the people. Only small regret... not many people my age. I am 46 and would most glocals crowds are in the 27-35 age group. Do you know if there are some gatherings organised with more 40+ people?


Or places to go where people are rather on age group 40-55?


I will continue to mingle with the young crowd but also would like to meet more people my age. Any thoughts, tips, advice are most welcome!

As far as I know on Glocals there are no structured gathering for old farts like us.


Why don't you propose one?

Hey Angela, 


99% of the Activities on glocals are organised by the members themselves, not by the site admins. So the best way to meet folks in a certain age group is to post an activity for that group...


I often see posts for folks 35+, 40+, 30-, etc.

Helen (SWISS) organised 40+ events but actually there was no age restriction. As Nir suggested organising your own event requires no more than tapping a few keys and posting, but don't be surprised if the youngster want to come along and have fun too.

Thanks Nir, I am getting the gist of it! and I will certainly organise an event soon. Maybe for the weekend of the St Valentin, for all the lonely hearts to have some fun together and not feel too left out of all the "love hype".

Thusdays in Cafe Latino Nyon...there is a cuban singer he sings cuban music like boleros, chacha...nice place to get together with friends...I go some times...good for people plus 40....

Good idea...do organise a proper event where both genders (MALE AND FEMALE) are present and not just only 1 boring gender!..like some people who tend 2 organise ...and do invite 71 year ol farts like me!!:-)
