What?! Was the "Do you speak love" thread not enough? Do we really need another one? Has this forum suddenly changed from being a meeting point for general discussions into becoming a market place for love coaches? And is "love coach" not just another name for "dating agency" or possibly "profiting on people's loneliness"? What's going on???!!!!! Where do all these sudden "love coaches" suddenly pop up from? Did you all just graduate from the love coach college?

Exactly Isa, this is what happened considering that anything posted in the events section involves a fee, whereas this radio show is FREE and anonymous, which are two rare advantages in this day and age.

Btw, Isa thank you for your post, believe it or not, I have followed the demands of an age group with no marketing strategy whatsoever and am convinced that people in their 30's here in Switzerland, suffer from a loneliness that is unjustified and unnecessary.

I believe that love is about daring to be oneself and that can seem like full-time job!

All the Best to you!

Hi Tinkie,

I remember posting it there in the first place, but glocals' administrators monitor the site really well.

About love and priority, the most popular 'Love Café' held is the one on 'Self-esteem', which is the foundation of our beings and as any foundation needs to be solid. The work on 'self-esteem' does not involve any other love but the love for oneself.

There is more to love than the other sex, the same sex or relationship with anyone else than self.

Thanks for your note!

Hi,

Isa, I am trying to understand, the word "punter" must be some kind of cultural word or slang for something and I am not quite getting it. Is a punter used here to mean a person interested in coaching, or is it a sales word for client? Just trying to understand your nuance.

Estelle, I like your comments about self - understanding and love. It is interesting topic as is shown by the multiplying threads. Self perception shapes many things in our life. For sure the way we are viewed is often mirrored by the way we view ourselves and likewise our vision of the world around us.

Love Coaching which seems like a fast growing field, is really a clear extension or part of life coaching in general.

People too busy for love in their 30s end up being people to busy for love in their 40s and probably lonely. It seems that too busy for love is usually kind of a defense system. I know it is for me. In my life I have never been too busy for love;) Until I made it to 40. But that is probably something I should workout with a coach..?

Hi Tony!

There is no right or wrong answers as far as life or love are concerned, it all depends on a single element: how you feel about it. You seem to be reflecting on your life by yourself and do not need anyone called 'coach' or whatever, to do it for you.

This all makes me think of 're-baptizing' myself and finding some title emphasizing on human exchange, growth and true inner balance, anyone, a clue?

As for giving kama sutra teaching, I leave that to others ;)

I have always been told that a Punter was a derogatory term used by the British to describe the Irish who visited Britain (who in the mind on the British were not very sophisticated and could be take advantage of).

The word Punter coming from the Irish Punt being the currency of Ireland until 2002.

Now the term is used for any general customer and in many cases to describe a "sucker".
