Hi everyone,
So I have posted about wanting to join a choir before, but I have had little success in finding one. Some people at the UN are starting a UN choir, but they will probably meet and practice inside the Palais, which is not exactly convenient for those of us who don't work there. I'm also not looking for a church choir. So I thought I would post here just to see if anyone is interested in starting a GOL choir. If there is enough interest, we could move it to Member Activities and start working out the logistics. I myself have no clue how to manage or direct a choir, but I have a lot of experience singing in choirs. There are all kinds of issues to deal with, like finding a director, a place to practice with a piano, when we would perform and who for, what kind of music, etc. If anyone thinks this is a good idea, please just reply with your suggestions and ideas to this post. Or if you think it sounds like a terrible idea, you can say that too! I just really miss singing and hope there might be some others out there who feel the same.
