Dear beloved community, 


As a glocal myself I turn to you and your wide membership for a little help that for me will make a HUGE difference:


Since I was a child I wanted to become an artist, things turned out different, but I never gave up the idea so now, amateurish as it sounds, I am determined to be one and for my first exhibition I need your help, or precisely your vote.



 One of my paintings is entered in the saatchi online showdown where memebers vote for works and the finalists get to exhibit their works, this time, in ARTPARIS fair in March. I would very much appreciate if you cast a vote for my work. Hi Paul,
Thanks for your consideration, as far as I am aware, the link works, try register first on the site and then paste and search the link, if not then search for my name Rodica Miron and then in the box underneath my profile picture you will find the link and the info but I think you have to register on the site first.

The fact that I had to register before voting is a pain tho, and it might put off a lot of other people who would like to support you. Is there no way around it?

OK have just registered, was very quick.  Tried the link but got nowhere.  Typed in your name and it worked so voted for your picture against some other picture but is that it or is it a series of knockouts?

Now that the contest is over, I want to thank again everybody, I did^t make it this time, though I enjoyed the experience a lot. For the curious eyes, here is the latest of my work...untitled so far. Any suggestions?

as regards giving it a title how about 'religion, education and culture for young ladies' as if it's the cover of book for the moral instruction of women from the not so distant and much more sexist past. obviously each ugly dwarf would stand for one of the three concepts (religion, education and culture).
