A Must see! - Movie Embedded!
Ok, it's not my kind to pollute forums with threads but this is REALLY impressive: a mouse plague in Australia.

Who thought that good ol' Mother Nature could run havoc like that?

If you hate rodents, peasant, walk by...

You Tube never ceases to amaze me.
The people on the farm needed a few of these.
(This clip also not for the faint hearted - nor for mouse lovers).

Another case of Mother Nature's twisted streak...
To be honest, I don't fear any animal (in any reasonable situation). But there's one that disgusts me: the centipede! Ackpt! I got shiver down my spine just to think that such one foot of a thing could crawl up my pants...

i hope the mexican ones are small: I've got a field mission there soon...

S-s-syd. (Brrrrrr)

Mexico is brilliant for wildlife. If you are in a tent, have a good look under the ground-sheet when you are leaving.....I often found good scorpians this way.

Well, I had quite many interresting encounters during some tent folding (spiders, centipedes, scorpions...). Not to mention IN the sleeping bag (just scorpions, no centipedes). And never forget to shake your shoes before putting them on: one is always amazed of what may fit in a boot (or two).

Anyway, I've learned that there's nothing more dangerous than a woman, and I can't help but to sleep with them... I won't complain about any friendly arthropod.
