As a family we went out to walk along the lake and when we returned home I accidentally rang my doorbell. No-one should have answered...but someone did.

You mean you actually rang the bell and waited for someone to answer before putting a key in the lock?

Some thieves are stupid. Mine returned to the scene of tehe crime, where one was arrested and the other ran head first into a police car! What hapopened to yours?
