Accessing U.S. television channels

Howdy y'all,

Is there any way to access some of the main American television network programming here in Switzerland? It seems most of the TV packages and Zattoo offer multiple British networks but only two American ones: CNN International and CNBC.

Is there any way to access other networks, such as ABC, CBS, regular CNN, CSPAN, FOX, NBC, or PBS?

I know there are ways to access series by using a VPN to access Hulu, or using streaming sites, etc.

I'm more interested in live television. For example, the midterm elections take place on Tuesday, and I would love to be able to watch the live election coverage. Of course I know I can try the various news websites, like NBC News, but these can get busy on events like Election Day and it's nice to be able to toggle between channels. Does Roku work for these channels here?

Thanks!

I have UPC cablecom and manage to get NBC as one of the channels although i never requested it so i guess that is something you can look into.

My neighbour tried Roku and it didnt work, the other alternative is to find live streaming on the internet, that is the easiest option
